Monie Kenney is the founder of Marked: A Millennial Altar Call—a movement created to lead millennials into supernatural intimacy with God. It exists to guide people beyond religious confusion and into deep oneness with Heaven through the Holy Spirit.

Although she wasn’t raised in church, Monie accepted the Lord into her heart at a young age. As a child, she attended various denominational churches—each with different expressions of worship: some emotional, some stoic, and some skeptical of the Holy Spirit altogether. This created early confusion about who God really was and how He interacted with people.

At 16, she began privately journaling in a closet, where she sensed God's presence, comfort, and voice meeting her. That secret place became her first altar—long before she understood church culture or religious tradition. Later, as her husband launched a ministry, she continued seeking God, but struggled under the weight of performance, protocol, and what felt like “begging” for God’s presence. Desperate for more, she asked God to fill her with the Holy Spirit and give her the gift of tongues—not for proof, but for encounter. When nothing happened, she became discouraged and retreated to the bathroom to wash her face. There, feeling unseen and unworthy, she looked in the mirror—and God spoke: “Open your mouth and speak what you hear.”

Though embarrassed and alone, she obeyed. As the first sounds of tongues came forth, the rest followed. She was overtaken by God’s presence and fell to the floor, weeping in holy surrender. That moment changed everything. She finally knew: God is real. His presence is tangible. And His love is unconditional.

Through Marked, she now helps others discover the same truth—that they are seen, chosen, and marked for a supernatural life of oneness with Heaven.
